"Can do CE" is not certification

Sellers routinely answer a certification question with a promise rather than a document. We ask for the certificate, check that the model number on it matches the item, and tell you plainly when what exists is a promise.

Which mark your market actually needs

FCC for the United States, CE and UKCA for Europe and the UK, and different rules again for wireless and for anything mains-powered. What the seller holds and what your market requires are separate questions.

Lithium batteries change the route, not just the price

A built-in battery, a loose battery and a battery-free item are three different shipping problems. Some routes refuse them outright and most air options do. We establish this before quoting freight, because a quote that ignores it is fiction.

Plug type, voltage and frequency

The default build is a Chinese plug on 220V. Getting the plug and voltage for your market is usually possible and usually has to be specified — it is not what arrives if nobody asks.

Firmware, language and manuals

Menus, app pairing and printed manuals often ship Chinese-only. Where an English build exists it is a different SKU, not a setting.

What the warranty is worth

A domestic marketplace warranty means returning the item inside China. We tell you what recourse actually exists rather than repeating the listing.

How an order runs

  1. Send the link or model A 1688 link, or the model number if you have it. For electronics the exact model matters more than the photograph.
  2. Battery and certification first We establish whether there is a cell inside and which documents exist, before anything is quoted. These two answers shape every later step.
  3. Specification confirmed Plug, voltage, firmware language, packaging and manual, agreed in writing with the seller.
  4. Quote against a route that will accept it Freight is quoted on a route that will actually carry the goods. Where a battery rules out the fastest option, you see that in the quote rather than at the port.
  5. Function check, not just a count Sampled units are powered on and exercised — charging, pairing, output — and photographed.
